Why does my extender say incative in my Smart Home Manager app when it shows there are a few devices connected to it and it is online?

We're here to help get your Wi-Fi extender working properly, @Cplopez.


Just to verify, are the devices connected to your Wi-Fi extender actively connected to the internet? If so, you should be able to just ignore the inactive message, or try re-adding the extender to your account through the Smart Home Manager if so. If you're having trouble getting the extender set up however, we recommend reviewing our guide on How to Set Up Your AT&T Smart Wi-Fi Extender. Here, you'll find instructions on how to get the extender set up & working through the app.


If you're still having trouble after re-adding your extender to your account, could you please verify which type of extender you have? Instructions may vary slightly depending on the equipment you possess.
