Export 2 wire settings?

Good morning, I’ve searched the forum and don’t see an answer that addresses my question I have the Uverse 2-wire router and I’m having the same issue it looks like many others here have with dropped signal and continual short outages. I’ve talked to AT&T several time and they want me to do a factory reset know. I hesitate to do this because I had to do a lot of custom setup to get my network working.

My question is *can I export all the setting to a file* so I can you the data to recreate the setting after the reset? If not which screens should I screenshot to make sure I cover all the user related settings?

Thanks in advance for any help!

No, the 2Wire routers do not support exporting the configuration to a file. You will need to write down your configuration parameters.

Most config parameters are on the following pages:

This is where the additional network is defined if you have static IPs.

Your wireless network settings.

IP Address allocation page, normally not used unless you have static IPs.

Firewall configuration page, you'll need to select your different computers and note what firewall options are selected for each one.

Firewall advanced configuration, you may have some settings changed here if you're using DMZPlus mode.

Doing router-behind-router just means setting up the DMZPlus mode. That setting will be on the firewall configuration page (4th link in the previous post).

Thanks for the prompt reply!

1 other question, I recall setiing a router behind a router in the configuration however I don't see that setting now on any of the screens I've been to. Is that setting in the router or not?

Thanks again.
