Equipment deposit refund
I paid $275 to AT&T upon installation of internet and home phone services, the additional $150 was for our equipment rental and I was ensured that we would be given this deposit back at the end of our service if we did not damage any of the equipment.
After moving, we could no longer could use AT&T. We cancelled our service and sent our, like new, undamaged, equipment back to ATT. We used UPS as directed and received a receipt from UPS stating the products would be sent. After AT&T received the package we did not receive our $150 deposit that was promised upon the returning of equipment in mint condition.
This has been an excruciating process consisting of COUNTLESS 45-70 minute phone calls and e-mails, resulting in the empty promises time and time again that I will receive my deposit back. I have waited nearly 5 months for MY money. I feel I should be compensated for the ridiculous amount of trouble my husband and I have been put through. I just want to finish this process and be reimbursed already.
