DNS servers timing out and losing packets. Internet is slow to initial load on all devices
DNS servers timing out and losing packets. When trying to load pages it is very slow. Download speeds are great but the initial connections are slow. There is no way to change the DNS server on my modem.
Manufacturer: ARRIS
, Model Number: BGW210-700. I have 1Gbps internet and it is great outside of the slow initial loading times. It is a pain to load web pages or even use Facebook because things are slow to initially load. What else can I do since I can't change the DNS server?

Hey @Cyberman527,
We're here to help with your inquiry on changing the DNS server. It is true our gateways do not allow you to change DNS server. You can change the DNS server on each machine or use a third party gateway with IP Passthrough.
