DNS server cannot connect to XBOX one

Hi @hikingheidi,

 

I am sorry about the issues you are having trying to connect your Xbox One to the internet, but I will be glad to help.

 

Try rebooting the Xbox One and the U-verse gateway. Also, if possible, try connecting hard wired and seeing if it works that way. If so, there may be an issue with the wireless profile. Delete it and set it back up from scratch.

After about an hr on the phone with Uverse, opening a new port checking firewalls we still couldn't connect. We then called Xbox they too said to hard wire it. We did many times with no luck then a system restore took care of it all. We hadn't used it for several months and there were numerous updates but couldn't connect up update due to the Internet issue.
