DNS ERROR ON PS4 nw-31254-5 Can’t Connect
Hi, I have the PACE 5268AC and I don’t see anyone else with this issue. Today after I updated my HOME Network firewall it suddenly gave me this error and nothing I do will help. I have rebooted numerous times, changed DNS settings to ATT 68.94.156.11, when that didnt work I tried Google DNS, then I tried CLOUD 1.1.1.1 DNS, then I opened the ports on my router, I really have tried absolutely everything. I’m pretty savvy with my home network but this has me very stumped. Any ideas what I can do? Is the firewall blocking me? I opened a pinhole but I put it on maximum firewall b

Hello @abandonedmuse,
I understand you're having issues with a DNS server on the PS4, so let's see what we can do to address your issue.
If you disable your firewall, are you able to connect with no DNS issues?
Also, in regards to the DNS, are you experiencing these issues on other devices?
On thing to try is to completely disconnect the PS4 off of your network and then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi. Let us know the answers to the questions and if disconnecting your PS4 helped solve your issue.

Hello I have the BGW210 router and have had no problems for the last year. Yesterday my PS4 started having problems connecting to PSN. I get a similar error as the above poster. I have a 2nd PS4 and it is having the same issue. I have changed nothing on my end and assume it is due to a firmware update. Please let us know how to fix this. I have hard reset the router multiple times and both PS4s of course. Do I need to get the router replaced or is there a workaround.
