change router settings

Router keeps dropping printer after a period of inactivity. Epson says router may not be configured to handle Wake On LAN (WOL) packets or there may be a firewall problem with Quality of Service (QoS) settings.

I did not have this problem until I upgraded to an ARRIS BQW210-700 router.

Hi @jm112746, allow us to look into this further so will have a better take on addressing your issue.

Does this happen to other wireless devices connected to your router?

When this happens, have you tried power cycling your router by unplugging it from the power source for 20 seconds before plugging it back in?

Also, try pressing the WPS button on your router. Pressing "WPS" button on Router will cause "WPS LED" to flash as expected

Is the printer connected to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band of the Wi-Fi?

How far is the printer from the router?

Let us know it this helps!
