Change Netgear network setting

Ok. I've done all I can do in trying to correct my problem. There are multiple devices trying connect with the Netgear router. Right now it says only 1 client but I need to change that number. Can someone help me with the steps I need to take to do this? I've done it before but it was years ago.

Either contact Netgear Support or go to their forums and ask there if this is an issue with your Netgear router.
