Carrier Infinity Server & Wifi Connection Issue

I have a Carrier Infinity thermostat that is nearly always disconnected from the Carrier server and intermittently disconnects from my U-verse wifi. As a result, I'm not able to adjust my thermostat from the app.

I read it might be some issue with the DNS. Any solutions?
