Can you connect a Kindle Fire HD to Att Uverse TV?
I can't find the "at&t uverse enabled app" on the Kindle Store link. Is there one?

Have been looking for a uverse app for the kindle fire hd. Found a vesion that should work but get a message 'A new uverse application version is available on google play. Please update this app now.' But, as you are aware a kindle can't go onto the google play store. If you are interested the app can be found at -
//forum.xda-developers.com/
While looking for an app, found an interesting FAQ which ATT may want to pay attention to:
If you have XFINITY TV, the new XFINITY TV Go app (a free download), lets you download premium TV shows and movies to your Apple or Android smartphone or tablet. Now you have a new option to download the content (versus streaming it) over an Internet connection and then watch it wherever you travel, even when you are offline!
Will continue looking.

The APK you have found is likely out of date, or has to check Google Play to see if it is before it will run, and finds that it's out of date.
I blame Amazon for the closed ecosystem of the Kindle trying to get the extra penny for its own App market instead of putting Google Play on the Kindle.
