Can we unplug the BGW210 router/modem?
We just had our router/modem replaced to the BGW210. When my daughter spoke with the ATT rep, she was under the impression we should NEVER unplug the unit. Is this correct?

Not true. You can unplug the gateway to reboot it. And a Whole House Reboot requires unplugging the gateway along with STBs and DVRs.
Some people want to unplug it for long periods of time (overnight) for whatever reason and that is not recommended.
Tip of the day: Take advice and/or information from CS reps with a grain of salt and then check these forums for accurate information.
