Can a BGW-210 be setup to support 2.4mhz
Signal is weak at furthest points of our home.

It supports 2.4GHz which I think is what you're asking. By default the BGW210 combines 2.4 and the 5GHz into one band. I've never see it tested that I can recall but I have my doubts that separating the bands would help signal strength.
But feel free to try it and see. Here's how...
Go to http://192.168.1.254/cgi-bin/wconfig.ha then enter the Access Code which is found on the gateway itself. In the 5GHz section change the Network Name (SSID) to something else. I usually suggest just adding a -5 onto the end of the current name. Scroll down and hit Save. Oh, ignore the dire warnings about the end of civilization if you change the name.
After this, any devices that work better on 5GHz will need to be told to connect to the new SSID you just made but the exiting 2.4 devices should just keep working.
