Broadband 2 light flashing red on Arris NVG589 gateway?

Noticed this was flashing red earlier this week. I live in Metro Chicago. Did the storms cause some sort of outage, and do I need to have a tech check it? I just got the Arris Gateway and the 45 mb service about 2 weeks ago. Initially, all was fine, but ran speedtest tonight and only getting about 19 mb. 

Help?
