Broadband 2 flashing red

Broadband 2 started flashing red yesterday. The TV is still working. I checked all connection and reset the NVG589 twice just now and still see the flashing red. Please help.

You probably have bonded pair service (50Mbs or higher), which requires two pairs of wires to provide signal - Broadband 1 & 2. The 2nd pair has a broken or intermittent connection, causing the blinking Red light. But pair 1 still has a strong enough signal to provide sync & service, at a reduced speed- hence the TV still working. Contact 800.288.2020 and have support run a line check; a tech can be dispatched if needed.
