BGW210-700 Port Forwarding Stopped Working on some ports

I've had a BGW210 router for almost 8 months, and I have several Ports Forwarded. all was working as needed. Last week - we had a power cycle, and now Some Ports still forward, and some don't. I am uncertain as to what changed. Was there an update that happened? I've tried removing the Port Forward and reinstalling - but it still doesn't work. What's really strange is that Some Ports still Forward. I cannot find a pattern as to why one port works, and the others don't.

Was something done over the last month or two, that was only enabled due to a Power Cycle?

any guidance would be greatly appreciated - I would like to avoid the Call center --- as they will walk me through a scripted attempt to troubleshoot - and I would like to avoid that.

We're here to help, @angelov!

I would first start by power cycling all the equipment one more time to see if that helps.

You can also check out our Bridge Mode instructions as that can be a solution for what you are experiencing.

Lastly, you can view our port forwarding instructions again just to make sure that everything is set up properly.

Let us know if any of these steps help!

Your response does not help me. My Port Forwarding was working. All ports were working. Now some are not. I've power cycled twice. There is a bug in the update that happened. I need someone to help me troubleshoot and find out why the issue surfaced. Can I get a Level 3 support resource to work with?

Hi, @angelov.

Here is an accepted solution that is in relation to the ports not working on your gateway.

We also recommend that you Factory Reset your gateway, this will return your gateway to the default settings. After this, we recommend that you set up the port forwarding again, to set it up properly.

Let us know if this helps.

Yes, there was (3 years ago) a bug with the BGW 210 firmware where it would quit port forwarding within 24 hours of it being set up.  That bug was fixed long ago... unless when your Gateway rebooted it lost its firmware and went way, way back.

You could have corrupted NVRAM, and a factory reset and resetting things is not a bad idea.  The only port I know of off the top of my head that you might see drop off port forward after proper setup is 443, and that only if you have U-verse TV with a Wireless Access Point for Wireless Recievers.
