bgw210 gateway

In response so am I not supposed to see my device gateways mac address in my computer at all ? I do understand that each interface has its own mac address what is confusing when I log in to my default gateway it only shows interfaces and mac address for wireless connections and not for wire Ethernet connection not sure if you know what I mean. any how reason being. I have been receiving from a intruder pc pings in my local network which are being blocked by McAfee firewall that's why I am being so concerned thks

Are you looking at the device list under the device tab? You should see Ethernet next to connection type. Select the clear and rescan for devices button to see if that helps.

hello browndk26 no i totally get and understand that would be my Ethernet adapter interface which comes from my computer .What I am trying to understand is why does the mac address on the side of my gateway device example default ip 192.168.1.1 mac 2c-36-18-38 -22-80 with all wifi turned off.Now when i query arp -a command on my computer it show's my gateway default ip 192.168.1.1 which is the same, but mac is different 2c-36-18-38-22-82 again why doesn't it match my device gateway's mac address the bgw210 gateway only displays wifi which are turned off.So were does this mac address come from
