AT&T WIFI EXTENDER WILL NOT CONNECT

I purchased a AT&T extender the last time I had repairs done. It has stopped working.

I have tried resetting it 3 times but it will never connect to my AT&T modem.

What are my next steps?

Did something change when the extender stopped working?

What model gateway/router and extender(s) do you have?

If you aren't, we recommend you use our Smart Home Manager to setup your WiFi extender for the easiest setup.

I have BGW210-700

Extender is Air 4921

I just purchased the extender and can't get it to connect

I used Smart Home Manager to connect them.  Went thru the wireless step twice.  Then tried with Ethernet cable.  Still didn't connect

We can help you get your Wi-Fi extender connected, @Conphibbs.

 

First things first, try checking out the steps in this setup guide. If you’re getting a solid red light on your Extender, it may be too far away from your gateway. You did mention trying from your Ethernet port, which is still a great call. Make sure that your Ethernet cord works on another device, and that it’s not a bad cord.

 

If it’s still not working after that, try restarting your Gateway, and then attempt to connect the Extender again.
