If you have a non-smart TV, you need to have a streaming device because your non-smart TV is not capable of connecting to your internet.

You would have to purchase a Roku, and Apple TV, or a fire stick or box. These devices connect via your Wi-Fi to your internet and physically with a cable to the TV set.

In order to connect to your TV, your non-smart TV must have an HDMI port. If your TV is so old that it does not have an HDMI port you will need to replace the TV set. There are no streaming devices currently sold which will connect to a non-smart TV without an HDMI port.
