ATT issue connecting to Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn

Hi,

There is an issue with our AT&T connection. We cannot connect to certain sites such as Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn.

Other sites work just fine, but not those two. We tried connecting via a different WiFi away from home, and the sites loaded. They will not load at our home though.

Hi jaclynarnold, we're glad to hear you found a workaround that allows you to access your desired sites.

We recommend using the Smart Home Manager app to manage your home network from any mobile device. Scrolling down to the section titled Use Content Filters and follow the steps:

  1. From Profiles, scroll to Advanced Content Controls.
  2. Choose Content filters or Web filters.
  3. Follow the prompts to control web content for this profile (only available on a limited basis).

Please let us know if this helps!

Hi Jennifer, this is not a home network issue.  It is a AT&T mobile data issue, so this was not helpful.  Thanks though.

Hi, kanterej.

We recommend that you check out our article on learning what could be causing a website not to load and how to resolve it. The section titled Unreachable sites caused by security vulnerabilities is a good place to start.

We also recommend disabling AT&T Internet Security to prevent websites from being blocked. In the Smart Home Manager, choose Settings, then App Preferences, and turn the feature off.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

@ATTHelp , this is not an issue with home WiFi networking is a problem with AT&T Cellular service.   The Smart Home Manager app is not a helpful nor do I think it would be an acceptable workaround even if that was the issue.  I am sorry, but I don't believe that post was helpful.

Hello thekellysolomon, we're here to help with your mobile data connection inquiry.

Check to make sure that your data is turned on by going to your plan to activate usage.

  1. Go to Usage.
  2. Select Manage my data usage in the Usage section below the graph.
  3. Toggle Data Off or On for the device you want to manage.
  4. Select Save

We also suggest resetting the network settings by choosing your device to refresh connection to the network.

Settings icon > scroll to and select General management > select Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings > select Reset to confirm.

Make sure your device has the most recent software updates to ensure you have the latest features.

  1. Go to Device Support.
  2. Select or change the selected device brand and model.
  3. Scroll to More Device Help.
  4. Select Software updates if you see it. It only displays if there’s an available update for your device.
  5. Repeat the steps to check for software updates for a different device.

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

Thanks for clarifying that for us, @kanterej

Please answer the questions provided below to help us determine the root cause of things:

  • How long have you been experiencing this with your Microsoft services? This will help pinpoint what's going on.
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried? We've shared some tips on this thread that may be helpful to you.
  • What's the make and model of your device? Sharing this information will allow us to come up with a more personalized solution for you.

We're looking forward to your response!

@kanterej you have replied to a thread in a forum for AT&T Wired Internet service.  Therefore the presumption will be that you're not talking about Mobile.  If you want the presumption to be Mobile, then post over there.

I tried to tell an earlier poster that they didn't have the same problem as OP (for the same reason) but they just argued with me.  You probably will too.

Hello this is Albert. I've had Att for years and for the last couple of months, LinkedIn, Office One Drive stopped working.

I am trying to connect with the cellular network and it won't and says that I don't have a connection.

But today upon reading this I used my NordVPN account and were able to connect to these apps and websites.

When I connect to WiFi from my Wife's phone, it works, and she uses ATT too. Which is stupid. i use Android Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and she is using iPhone. I believe it is also about the device.

I can get into my account with her phone connected to cellular network.

This is really weird and i think there is something going on with ATT not allowing certain phones to access, certain apps/websites.

Please ATT fix this.
