ATT issue connecting to Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn

Hi,

There is an issue with our AT&T connection. We cannot connect to certain sites such as Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn.

Other sites work just fine, but not those two. We tried connecting via a different WiFi away from home, and the sites loaded. They will not load at our home though.

@JefferMC Sorry, my mobile connection is AT&T and the wifi is non-AT&T.  So I'm having the same issue in that when connected to AT&T (mobile) my Teams stops working after some amount of time (not immediately).  It will work for an hour or days, it just depends but the connection drops after some time and connecting to my home (google fiber) or at work (comcast business), the connectivity issues disappear.

It is definitely an AT&T issue. A support phone # to call will suffice.  Thanks for all the advise, but at this point I need to talk directly with an AT&T rep. As mentioned, other WiFi service works fine when accessing the sites mentioned but not with AT&T. So as to continue as an AT&T consumer I would like a representative to direct message me so we can find a proper solution.  Thanks for all your time and consideration to all the members who posted replies to my issue.

Thanks for clarifying for us, @sbumpusb2

What kind of message are you getting when you try to access these sites? If you're getting a blocked notification, there should be an option to allow access. This will also add it to the exceptions list so it isn't blocked in the future.

@sbumpusb2 , You can call 800-288-2020 until you're blue in the face.  It will not help you when the problem isn't within AT&T's network.  It will not even help you if the problem is within AT&T's network because the network engineers are insulated from the phone center by miles of procedure.

@Jtriplett38 , do you have software on your phone to do traceroutes?

@JefferMC Yes.  This is what I'm seeing with teams.microsoft.com and linkedin.com.  Notice that the server is responsive while on wifi but not on mobile.  What other detail do you need?

We'd like to help with a solution, @Jtriplett38

Please let us know if you tried the troubleshooting steps listed above. If the problem continues, we may need to perform a back-end fix. Keep us updated!

@ATTHelp I've tried everything you mentioned and then some with no resolution.  There are at least 3 other AT&T subscribers in my company in different areas of the country that are experiencing the same issue I am. Some are iOS and some are android users.

Cue the ultra-powerful "back-end fix"!  Stand back, everyone.

Thanks for letting us know, @Jtriplett38

Let's meet in a Direct Message on this. Please check your Direct Message inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).

In the meantime, another thing we'd like to recommend is troubleshooting your SIM card. Removing the SIM and placing it back into the phone sometimes help clear up signal issues.

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Remove the SIM card (Use the SIM Removal Tool that came with the phone)
  3. Clean it with a soft cloth
  4. Place the SIM back into the phone.
  5. Power it on and test.

If you see dirt or dust in the SIM Slot, we recommend using a product like Air Duster to remove.

Remember to keep watch for our DM!

I am unable to access any microsoft services cloud files (OneDrive, Word, Excel, etc) via at&t wireless. My company uses OneDrive for virtually all of it's document management/creation and when I open OneDrive on ATT Cellular, it loads nothing and appears empty. If I turn on VPN by Google One, I can then access the files as normal. So ATT is for some reason blocking Microsoft services. I can't even access bing- says it fails to load. Yet cellular internet for EVERYTHING but Microsoft services seems to be working fine.

This issue cropped up this morning. Worked fine over the weekend.

Called ATT and was on the phone with them for about 3 hours. Eventually they said it was an issue on their backend and they'd work on it.
