AT&T In general (Edited per community guidelines) terribly

Starting off with this absolutely awful company, first we have Wifi problems. I try to game on my personal computer but I simply can't! I disconnect every 3 minutes. I can't even do any homework for school! A lot of time the Wifi doesn't even work for a day! But guess what! That's not all... The data cellular service is tremendous. I have 4 bars and I can't watch my YouTube without it buffering. I live in the most non-remote place ever in America and AT&T service doesn't even work here! If you looking to switch to AT&T don't!!! Here is your warning.

Perhaps working on troubleshooting skills might serve better.   WiFi supplied in Att gateway is not reliable, so there's that.  Solution is to get your own.  If the service to the gateway itself is in question, then test it independently and ask for help if trouble is found.

First, we always recommend performing a reboot of your gateway when you experience any connection issues. This is a common fix for a lot of every day issues, such as intermittent connection.

 

Give it a try with these steps: 

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have: 
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Put the internal battery back in if you have one. 
  4. Plug the power cord back in. If you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  5. Wait for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green. This can take up to 10 minutes.

Along with that, we recommend viewing our article that has great tips on optimizing your internet connection such as where to place your gateway for the best service and more.

 

While you give those a look over, can you let us know the following:

  • What internet plan do you have?
  • Do you have any third party equiupment?
  • What are the current speed test looking like?

The answers to these questions can help us greatly in determining the cause for your concern today.

I'm thinking there was some sarcasm involved here.  But I do note that OP led with he can't game, then followed up with can't do homework, so we see a hint towards his priorities.
