I currently have opened ports on my Arris NVG589 gateway for an Open NAT Type for my Xbox One console. Now, I am adding a second console (second user in the household), but get a Strict NAT Type for it. How do I get an Open NAT Type for the second console? Thanks for the help.

Thought I would share...
For those that are experiencing issues with multiple Xbox One's. I solved it by getting a $19 router (Inexpensive UPnP Router). Use the supplied cable, connect the new routers WAN port to any of the 1 of the 4 CAT 5 ports on the Uverse router. Set the new router as the DMZ host on the UVerse routers firewall settings. Restart everything (consoles, new and old router). Go into your network settings on the consoles, find your new router (you could have renamed it and given new login credentials which are recommended) and let it go. The XBox will automatically detect and configure itself via UPnP. I have one console physically connected to the new router and another in the house connected over WiFi to the NEW router. Both with OPEN NAT's.
(was having issues playing Conan Exiles with the nephew at the same time - this fixed it - game and voice chat. Note we do both have our own XBox Live accounts!)
The UVerse router we have is the Pace 5268AC.

I know this is an older thread, but I got my two systems to both work with open NAT. The ATT gateway supports both 2.4 and 5 ghz connections. I logged into the gateway and changed the name of the 5ghz network. I then had my xbox connect to the 2.4 and my daughter's to the 5ghz. Both have an open NAT, and have worked flawlessly.
