AT&T Gateway Modem is DOA ... What is a compatible replacement?

My AT&T gateway modem died yesterday afternoon - have a new one on order but need to work from home in the meantime. There is no telling how long it will take to get here. If it is based it on how long it took to get to the point I could even ask for a replacement, it could be next year. Never did get to a human, was on hold for 2.5 hours and found a way on my phone (NOT AT&T) to get it ordered.

What are some compatible modems I can (hopefully) find and use in the meantime?
