Airties 4920 always hot

Is it normal for the Sorties 4920 to be quite warm while operating? It seems to be doing it's job of extending the signal. However. It would be able to compete against a heating pad or electric blanket with ease.

If anyone has any suggestions, possible solutions, or can tell me that the device being very warm all the time is just the norm for these units I would be very thankful.
