Good Morning @JBiz1,

We can understand the desire to add an additional router to your existing router and we want to help.

  1. What model router is your primary router that your internet comes to?
  2. What service do you have, DSL or Uverse or Fixed Wireless?
  3. How do you intend to use the Atheros. For an extender of wifi coverage or for additional ethernet ports for connections to more devices?

I do not believe you can connect a secondary router via wifi.

Please let us know the answers to the questions so we can try to help you out.

Thank you,

RoyN, AT&T Community Specialist
