Accessing Advanced Settings through Smart Home Manager

When selecting Advanced Settings I get an error message "Must be on main network ..". I am connected to the primary WIFI network.  Have used this feature in past (several months ago).  I have rebooted the the gateway and deleted and reinstalled the app.  Still get same error message.

Hi there, dfostermem. We understand that you are trying to access the Advanced Settings through the Smart Home Manger, but it is not working. We can help with that. 

 

You did state that you are getting a prompt of "Must be on main network." But, you are connected to your main Wi-Fi network.  You also stated that you have rebooted the router, and you have deleted and reinstalled the app. Thanks for trying all the troubleshooting. 

 

Let's try some of the things you have already tired, but in a different order:

  1. Reboot the gateway.
  2. After rebooting the gateway, clear the app cache from the mobile device that you are using. 
  3. Force quite the app.
  4. Reboot the mobile device. This causing the WI-Fi to be refreashed in the mobile device. 
  5. Check to make sure that your Wi-Fi network name matches the information on the router, if not, forget the network and reboot the mobile device and reconnnect to correct one. 

Try these things and get back to us.
