Why my sbcglobal.nete mail did not working properly since last week?

I have used this email address for 25+ years already.  But I use Google Chrome as my browser for accessing my sbcglobal.net emails.

Since last week, my sbcglobal.net emails no longer work as usual.  All my old email entries in all the folders were blanked out, including Spam and Trash folders as well.   I could not send, forward, reply/reply all, delete and reset any of the functional key bottoms.  In addition,  all my email distribution of all contact individuals and group listings, no longer could retrieve and display any of the contact entries.  Now, I don't think that I remember all my friends, family members, classmates email addresses.  Is there any chance that we can fix all the problems that I have encountered?, or I need to start from scratch to create a new email address with different service providers, Gmails, Hotmail, or AOL, etc.  If it is the last solution, which one is a better choice?

BTW, the same problem just happen to my husband's email account two days ago, now we have lost all of our connections with outside.   It would be very much appreciated if any of you can help us to fix our problems.  Thank you very much for your help and support in advance.

Best,

Margaret

We want to help with your email, @MargaretYLin.

Have you tried using a different browser to access your email through Currently, the AT&T web mail portal?

We recommend you try clearing your cache and cookies to see if they may be corrupted in your Google Chrome browser as well.

Let us know if this helps.

@ATTHelp

Hi John,

Thanks so much for your help.

This morning, all my problems seems got fixed automatically, and it happened once before, but only last for few days.  This is before I received your email.  I just finished clearing my Google Chrome and Internet Explore browsers, hope this time will last.

How often do I need to clearing cookies and temperate files.  Is there a space limitation on inbox or other saved folders capacities?

Thanks again,

Margaret

@MargaretYLin.

Glad to hear it got fixed. You don't need to constantly clear the cookies and cache, it's just something you want to do if you notice your browser having performance issues, or if it isn't working properly. The article John provided goes more into depth on how all of that works.

Let us know if you have anymore questions!
