Upgrading your Browser from Edge
Browsers and OS' recommended by AT&T
To continue enjoying and maximizing your att.net mail experience, we ask that you please upgrade to a new version of your Web Browser. In the near future, Edge (version 14 and older) will no longer be supported, therefore we ask that you upgrade to the latest Microsoft Edge Browser. If you opt to continue using your existing Microsoft Edge Browser your current mail experience will revert to AT&T’s ‘Basic Mail’.
To upgrade, please click on the Edge browser download link below, once the page loads, select ‘Download’.

Hi @PMK444,
"Basic Mail" is the layout the email will revert to if the browser is not updated. When browsers are upgraded, AT&T take advantage of the changes to give our customers the best experience possible.

I'm getting this message and I'm using Internet Explorer (I refuse to use Edge; uninstalled it actually). So is ATT saying they are not longer supporting Internet Explorer??

I agree with you 100%. I also do NOT like or want to use Microsoft Edge. Why is AT&T forcing Microsoft Edge on us ??? We should be able to use whatever browser we want without being punished. AT&T, please respond.

IE is no longer being developed by Microsoft. It is falling behind other browsers in terms of feature support. When you write a web application, you have to consider what features are available in the browsers you support. as well as conducting testing on your supported browsers. That tends to lead them to de-support old browsers with low market share. According to statcounter, IE is down to 3.12% of browser users as of June 2018.
You don't have to use Edge. Modern versions of Chrome or Firefox would be just as good.
