unmerge yahoo account not working
I am trying to unmerge a sbcglobal.net att account from a yahoo account.
When I follow the steps from https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/email-support/KM1047015
I get a fault code PRO_UMAS_331 on the screen, and it does not work.
How can I unmerge my yahoo account?

Just a warning. You may lose access to your yahoo email account if you try to unmerge.

If I cannot unmerge the sbcglobal.net from my yahoo.com email, how can I change the yahoo.com email password?
My Yahoo email sends me to my att. When I login to my sbcglobal.net email (which I no longer use), the only email password I can change is the sbcglobal.net password.

If you have a merged account. When you change your sbc/att email password, that should change the yahoo one as well.
If have not seen a posting on this forum from anyone being able to successfully unmerge their accounts. The common outcome is that they lose access to their att and yahoo emails when they attempt to unmerge. I don't think this has been fixed by att/yahoo yet.

I can confirm that changing the password to my sbc email did NOT change the yahoo email password.
I was able to change the merged yahoo email password many years ago, but since att and yahoo parted ways, it appears the att system is broken.
