@swbell.net email account

If I leave ATT service area and sign up with another provider because AT&T is not available may I keep my @swbell.net email address? If so for how long? And is support then default to Yahoo?

I am a former U-verse account holder. My telephone number was (Edited as per community guidelines) and I still have that phone number but under another provider. When I moved from (Edited as per community guidelines) where I had the service, I live at (Edited as per community guidelines) where ATT services were not available when we purchased our home. When I got initially got ATT services I got an email address [email scrubbed] that stopped working a few months ago it started using [email scrubbed] as my email address. The [email scrubbed] email address has all my calendar information associated with it; birthdates, appointments, etc. I had folders associated with this email address that is now associated with my yahoo email address [email scrubbed]. I have had that [email scrubbed] for a long time and I would like to have it back. I called your call center and the agent told me that my [email scrubbed] email address was high level locked? He transferred me to another person that told me that I would have to purchase a plan at $15 per month for 12 months in order for him to do anything for me. I did not feel that I was being told the right information so I asked where I could read about this service. Currently, I am a former ATT customer but if the opportunity comes to I would love to be a customer again. So please help me get my email address and my information back. William C.
