remove yahoo news

When I open my email account, Yahoo news is on the home page.  How can I remove it and switch to a reliable news source?

Don't use Yahoo mail and find what you consider a reliable news source and make that your homepage for your browser.

When I open my email account it goes to Yahoo News. I open it by going to Yahoo.com and then connect to AT&T.  I've had this email forever and it has gone through several company changes.  I do not know how to change it.  If you could help me, I would appreciate it.

With Yahoo mail, it could be something new that they are doing so that you have to access your mail thru their portal. Try setting your homepage to whatever you want and see if that makes a difference.
