my at&t email password isn't recognized-I've been using the same PW for decades.

I've been using the same account sbcglobal.net for over a decade since when it was just yahoo.
Since two days ago I can't log in or receive mails on my yahoo account. And it doesn't allow me to even change my PW to a new one, it just says to call ATT. But I don't have ATT internet anymore.
I don't have an account. I want to keep my email. How can I solve this problem, and why did this happen??

I called ATT service line and it was total waste of time.

I do not have ATT accout anymore because my building started a different internet company since a few yrs ago.
All my sbcglobal.net mails are inaccessible and that was my main email i was using. This is a crisis for me.

I am experiencing the same problem.  I have been on the computer for hours trying to get back into my account w/o success.  I have received no replies from "chat sites", when I call listed phone numbers, they are no longer operative.  What can I do next?
