McAfee

I updated my MacBook Air to Big Sur OS, v 11.0.1. McAfee doesn't work on this OS.

1) How long until McAfee updates to support Apple's latest OS?

2) Is there a fix available until then?

McAfee did update their support for Big Sur. The issue isn't them but rather AT&T not providing a download link for their customers to access the Big Sur compatible version of McAfee Internet Security Suite (ver 4.10). There is another post where an AT&T rep commented just a few days ago that they have acknowledged this issue and are working the solution. Not sure what that means for how long it will be but hopefully soon.

Hi, @Larry_Barton.

 

We don't have an ETA at this time, but some customers have found that uninstalling and reinstalling the software gets it back up and running. Give it a try and keep us posted.

Nope! I tried again today (11/26/2020). STILL won't install. The error says 'imcompatible OS"
