Maximum pst file size

I am helping someone convert a pop3 email setup in outlook to use imap.  I will back up her local pst file, delete her email account in outlook, setup a new imap account and then import her mail from the backed up pst file.  Since the mail will now be on AT&T servers, what is the maximum size for her pst file?  I need to see how much to load into archive folders.

Thanks

I don’t think anyone can tell you the maximum size of the file. If I’m not mistaken, pst files are compressed and once you import the emails, they won’t be, so the size of the pet file does not equate to the amount of space the imported emails will take up. It will also depend on how full the email account is.

I am not asking how big a pst file can be.  That depends on things like MS office version.  Since I am converting to imap, the file is mirrored on the AT&T servers.  I am trying to find out how much space can be used,
