Mail Server IP Address is Blocked

I am trying to help out a customer who has mail that is being blocked by your prodigy.net mail servers for nvbell.net. We tried sending mail to the abuse address from the rejection notice but we have not received a response. How do we go about getting the IP address for the mail server whitelisted. There used to be a website where we could apply the IP but that has long since disappeared.

Good Morning @doremonz,

It is frustrating when the email is not going through.

Did your customer receive a Non-Delivery Report error message? Please forward that email to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net because our postmaster need the email header to investigate further.

Please have your customer verify their email setting if they did not receive the Non-Delivery error message. Here's the email server setting for AT&T email addresses.

Hope this help, please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks,

WallaceW, AT&T Community Specialist

We forwarded the error report to the abuse_rbl email address two times but have not received a response. Normally when this happened with our old email server we would receive a response within 48 hours but it has been a number of days.

Hi @doremonz,

Please wait a few more days as our block list group may be running behind with the number of requests they have received.

Thanks,

It's been over a week and  still have heard nothing. We really need to get our public IP whitelisted. Is there anything we can do to expedite this?

@ATTHelp Okay. It has been over a month. This is beyond ridiculous. We are at the point where we are ready just to not be bothered with folks who have att.net, sbcglobal.net, and yahoo.com email addresses. We tried getting this solved through AT&T and through Verizon. The Verizon folks were kind enough to answer and let us know the ball is effectively in your court at AT&T. Why is this process so difficult now when it used to be so easy before?
