Feb 19 2019 imap.mail.att.net not responding port 993 or 995

Just tested it out (at the time of this post) and imap.mail.att.net/993/ssl seems to behaving ok for me (using Thunderbird).
It was Outlook that had the error message. I had to enter and reenter all my settings. Tried it over and over for about two hours, and it then it suddenly worked.
I got the error message from Outlook. Tried it over and over for about two hours then it suddenly worked. Thanks for trying it and responding.
How can we improve?
