I can't log into my email - I'm getting error code 652314

I can't log into my email. Getting error code 652314.  Tried changing the password and still can't gain access to my email.  Was working last night.  Have not had a problem in 10 years of using this email, but suddenly today I can't read my email.  Need a resolution immediately as I have many very important emails stored there and need access.

Also, have tried calling.  Could only get through to a "billing" dept. and they would not help.  Tried the number they supplied for email help and after being on hold for 5 minutes a recording came on and said voice mail was full and then hung up on me.

I finally got through to a customer service person from Uverse and she was very nice! I was told this is a known problem today and ATT&T is working on the fix.  I was very relieved to find out it was NOT a problem with only my account.  There is an issue at the company level affecting many customers and they are aware of the problem.  I was told to check again tonight and hopefully everything will be up and running again.

Hope this helps anyone out there having the same problem.

I've spent a couple hours trying a variety of things but cannot get it to work and cannot find any "live" help anywhere on your at&t websites.  It appears that I need to generate a 3rd party app password, but when I go to my "Account Security" within my Yahoo Settings, there is nothing there but a statement showing "How you sign in" -- the instructions on your help page says I need to be on that spot to "Generate app password" -- but again, there is no option there to do that.  Please help me figure this out!

I have 4 "SWBELL.NET" domain'd POP3 email accounts. I've owned these accounts for many years.

Beginning sometime around September/October 2020, two of the accounts began authentication

failures, due to password(the exact text appears below). The 2 remaining accounts continue to work

just fine.  All 4 of these "SWBELL.NET" accounts are *VERY* low volume.

I have deleted/regenerated 1 of the failing accounts just to ensure proper specification(s). But, the

authentication failure continues. I can post the critical specifications(inbound.att.net,995,SSL).

(outbound.att.net,465,SSL). But all 4 SWBELL.NET accounts specify identically(The Mozilla Tbird

queries the ATT email server for these definition settings, automatically).

The email client is Mozilla Thunderbird 78.6.0 32bit(current as of this writing).

The OS is MS/Win10.64(build 19042.685 also current as of this writing).

Is there something with ATT's POP3 authentication server that is/might be causing this?

And, I forget.... Using the correct password(the EXACT password used in the failing POP3 authentication),

I can gain IMAP access all day long. IMAP is how I've been accessing these 2 accounts since the failure

began.

Below, is the POP3 authentication message, copied exactly as issued.

"Sending of password for user [email scrubbed] did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net

responded: Server error - Please try again later". And, then answering "OK"/"X" to clear the message.

Sorry, I made an incorrect statement:

"I can gain IMAP access all day long. IMAP is how I've been accessing these 2 accounts since the failure"

Should have been:

"I can gain webmail access all day long. webmail is how I've been accessing these 2 accounts since the failure. This provided just to prove that the password is correct

for all access attempts".

(Edited per community guidelines) AT&T! I can't login into my email account through Currently home page. I need to access my email for my job. Get your act together. May have to quit using AT&T products, since they often don't function properly.  Second time in 3 months I haven't been to access my email account.

I enter the address and password. There is no error message, but the log-in screen comes back up again asking for the address and password. It's an endless loop, no matter which address I enter. Please help.

When I log in to my att email account on my laptop today, it goes in circles from the Login.yahoo.com page, where ATT has you enter your email address, to the signin.att.com page, where you again enter your email address, then also enter your password, back to the Login.yahoo.com page to enter your email address, then to the https://www.att.com/my/#/invalid-login-error where is says: We're Having A Problem Something isn't working right. Give it some time and try again. (Error code:652314)

I am logged on to email on my phone so the server must not be down (and I almost always leave that logged in, so don't say that is interfering with logging in on my laptop).  ATT did this a few months ago, and it took over a week until it finally stopped.  I need my email for important communication.

I tried logging on to my ATT Mail account and it diverts me to Yahoo. I tried to re-log in there but it sends me a code to enter. Once I enter that code, it cycles back around to the password entry code page.  At one point I received a error message.

What is going on?

I am unable to login to Bellsouth.net from web browser.  After providing user/pwd, i get thrown back to a page telling me to select the button to login to the account.  It seems that it interprets that to me logging out of what i just logged into.  I get thrown back to the initial login page to start the endless process again.

It is January 13th and for the past 10 hours or so, I have been unable to reach any of my AT&T email accounts via webmail (via a web browser). My user name and password are accepted however it reloads the login screen over and over. I checked the outage page and nothing appears down in my area. Is it just me?
