Only follow those instructions on how to set up your Outlook.  Do not use the server names specified there.  That article is out of date.  You should use inbound.att.net and outbound.att.net (for POP3), imap.mail.att.net and smtp.mail.att.net (for IMAP).  The ports and security are the same.

Here's the page with the currently documented settings.

Ronjxx, you can follow the directions located by clicking HERE. You can select the email client to set up and it gives you the instructions needed. Dan G., AT&T Community Specialist

No matter what i use imap.mail.att.net 993 ssl and smtp.mail.att.net 465 ssl after reseting the password it comes back the imap box asking to enter the user and password.

When trying to access the web mail with the user and password works with no issues

Please advise

So when you enter the account and password into your Outlook does it work?  If so I believe there should be a checkbox in the settings to remember the password.  Perhaps you forgot to check it.

Hi, where can I find all of the current POP3 and IMAP settings, IP address, ports etc? The links on this site don't work, or just don't bring up anything relevant:

Many thanks for your assistance.

Everything was working fine till I changed my password! Now I cannot receive any emails. It works on my phone but not on my computer. Any ideas?

We can help with that email problem, @sid1019.

Can you give us a bit more info on your problem? We want to make sure we tackle it correctly. Are you unable to receive new emails, but able to send them? Or are you fully unable to access your emails? If you’re using an email client, such as Outlook, have you tried logging in at ATT.net? You may need to clear the cache and cookies on your PC, or reset your password one more time.

Get back to us at your own pace, @sid1019, we’ll look out for your response. In the meantime, we’d also recommend this guide for troubleshooting your email. Let us know, we’re here to help!
