How can I get an update on a fraudulent Uverse account opened with my stolen identity?

I have submitted the affidavit and stacks of paperwork proving who I am.

I have called the number provided to me by the fraud department: DISCONNECTED BY ATT.

I have called the global fraud account. I have sat on hold for 2 sessions of 40 minutes with no answers. Hung up.

I have gotten through to people a total of 2 times. Both times I have been hung up on. (hoping this was a mistake, but they had my cell number and didn't call back)

I just need an answer on the status of the fraudulent account that was opened using my stolen identity. I can't get anyone to answer, the chat on the website is worthless, and all the att stores are closed so I can't even go in and talk to anyone.

What do I do ATT? Is this how you treat people?

We'd recommend looking through our article on Reporting an Unauthorized AT&T Account. Since it seems like you haven't been able to get through to the Global Fraud Management Team, we'd recommend calling them at 866.718.2011.
