I have been losing access to [email scrubbed] for a while now. I came across your site that says I can change it over to currently.com. Whenever I attempt it, it says bad request. I was using yahoo before with the sbcglobal.net domain; and I was able to switch that over to [email scrubbed], but there were none of my old emails or contacts there. As I said, switching my ATT email over to currently has not been successful. Is this where all of my old email/contacts would be? Or is there a way to get them transferred to the yahoo e-mail? Remember, I cannot get into the sbcglobal.net email.

I am so upset with the switch from att.net over to currently.com. I’ve lost all of my att.net saved emails. Doesn’t look like I had a choice but to switch, and there wasn’t any information on how/if my incoming att.net emails would somehow transfer over to populate the new currently.com platform. Done with ATT! I’m happy with my new gmail.com account. It was a hassle, but I’ve contacted all of my accounts (banking, etc.) and switched over to gmail.

Does att.net offer a paid version of the email? I don't like the ads and I would like a better spam filter that will actually block international emails from entering my mailbox period.

I can no longer sign into my email using att.net.  Am I now forced to use currently through att.com and need to create another email address or can I still use the @att.net endpoint to receive emails?  My email is tied to my business!

Note: I still receive emails on my Android but I cannot get to them on my laptop while attempting to sign in on att.net.

Please help!

Currently, my att emails are inaccessible.

I have deleted my cache and cookies and history, relaunched my browser, restarted my computer, turned it off and on. Heck, I even left the room (to cool off, mostly) - and yet NOTHING works.

Please fix this!

Please.

Hi @Keith_Paxton20, we definitely want to get this taken care of for you!

Would you be able to provide this information?

  • What device(s) are you using?
  • What browser are you using?
  • Have you tried any other browsers?
  • What error are you seeing?

Thanks for working with us!

Hello Raychel,

I have been trying to access my att.net email for a few days on a laptop (pc) through Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge and they each redirect me to a yahoo mail, or in the search window there are two long strings of confusing alpha-numeric entries that rotate back and forth, and has "logout successful" on the tab at the top left corner.

I have tried to contact ATT Customer Service several times, even spending three hours being transferred from one agent to another with no success.

Apparently, I am not the only one having this issue, having seen many of the same comments on this forum.

To be honest, I have about given up on att mail. I have it on all sorts of important business documents, which will all have to be changed.

I hope you fix this problem soon.

However ...

Just now I tried one final time to log onto att.net mail, and voila! I got in. I wish I could be confident that the next time I log-in, I will have the same success.

Frustrated,

Keith

HI @ Keith_Paxton20, the http://sm.att.com/e7d74d68 email address is solely a free email service offering to those who would like a new email address, first-time email account holders, (formerly http://sm.att.com/c07adc7e).

We are happy that you were able to login to your email account.

There is a safety measure in place for too many failed attempts, that will lock your account for 24-hours.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

Lafayette,

Thank you for responding.

I don't want a new email address.

I want to be confident that I can use my current att.net email address.

As a long-time AT&T customer, I am displeased with this present poorly-executed mail merger. It is not what I have expected with AT&T.
