Help needed to un-merge AT&T from Yahoo

Hello AT&T

I cancelled my Uverse service last week because I am moving. I would like to un-merge my IDs so only my Yahoo ID remains. Can you do this for me? I am getting the run around on the phone 😞

I tried to PM Alex, but it says his PM's are turned off.

Thank you very much!

Kevin

Hello Kevin8520,

Here is an article that explains how to unmerge your Yahoo Account from myAT&T account so you can keep your emails even after disconnecting Internet service:

Delete your att.net email ID and keep your Yahoo! email ID

Please review them carefully and any additional links in there that can help. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

Dmitriy,

Thank you for the reply. I have followed that article to the T, and I do not have the "Delete Email" link next to where it says "Check Email".

What are the next steps?

Thank you again!

Kevin

I am trying to unmerge my att email and my yahoo email. I have chatt...ed with someone from customer support and u-verse support and both were unable to do it. I was told that I would have to talk to a product specialist. Can someone here help me please?
