Email Suddenly Goes To Spam

Just recently I started having a problem with email that used to go to the Inbox now going to the Spam/Junk box.

Why has this suddenly started to happen when I have not changed anything?

What is causing this and how do I fix it?

This has to be something that AT&T/Yahoo has changed since I have not changed anything at all.

We'd love to help get your incoming email into your inbox, @Sheman.

What device are you using? Did you check your email filter settings? Please not that sometimes, when the filters are not set right, your email may not go into the correct folder.

To get started, we suggest that you view this article to get tips on how to use folders and filters to organize your email.

Let us know if that helps, we're here if you need further assistance!

Sorry but the article you referred me to did not help. Already reviewed and took care of filters.

I am using Windows 8.1. AT&T email. I enter email by using a desktop icon that takes be right to the login page for email.

I have checked my filters and made sure non of them are affecting my email. For the emails that go to the Junk/Spam folder and should have gone to my Inbox I have added a filter to direct them to the Inbox. I have prioritized the filters so these emails should be going to the Inbox. Doing this has not helped.

Let's see if we can get your email going to the right folder, @Sheman.

We recommend that you use our Troubleshoot and Resolve tool to make sure all of your settings are correct. You can go to email setup and repair for more advanced troubleshooting.  Also, here is a solution that we recommend you tryout.

Let us know if this helps.

I will give it a try as soon as the Troubleshoot Email Setup and Repair becomes available. Right now I get the message

"Alert!

Unfortunately, we are unable to access Troubleshoot & Resolve at this time. For further assistance, please visit att.com/esupport."

Have tried to get into the Troubleshoot for days and it continues to give me this same message. What gives AT&T?
