Email not working

Email not working it’s suddenly quit on iPad and iPhone after having to change the password for direct tv. Changing the DIRECTV password also changed AT&T primary account which then affected my email which I was on the phone for over an hour trying to fix   I can sign into DIRECTV with one password I can sign into AT&T.net to access email on a web browser and it works I can access AT&T.com and it works but I cannot sign in to the Mail app on the iPhone or iPad I am put in that endless loop of server not accessing and ID and password wrong.

Since your email password has changed, you'll need to update the password on your device as well. You can use our Device How-to for instructions on how to do that. Select your device, and scroll down to the email settings section to get started.
