EMAIL Access

Yesterday (10/21) I was told to refresh my browser for a 'new AT&T email'.

Following the refresh, I am no longer able to access my main email account that I was logged into.  It is still accessible on other devices, just not my main device.

Was this a popup in the browser?  How did you do the refresh?  Have you tried logging out and back in?

The message was from the page itself.   I'm logged in pretty much 24/7 and have gotten this message from AT&T in the past with no issues.

I have 2 AT&T accounts and it was only picking up the one that was not active at the time of the refresh.  When I would try to log into my main account, it would change to the secondary account.
I ended up 'changing the password' using the same password, and I'm now able to access the account.  Too many steps to support a 'transparent' software change.

I don't think there was ever really a software change.  It just had a connection error between the javascript in your browser and the server.  Saying you need to refresh to get new software is a common "little white lie" told by a lot of web software.

You probably did need to clear your cookies so that it wouldn't think you wanted the other account.  Or just log out.
