I don't think they have a direct number to call. you can go to them only through an att customer care agent

My ATT/Yahoo email stopped coming in through my phone app. It tells me that I need to authenticate and I . did that several times including changing the password but not working since 6am on April. My Gmail is coming through which tells me that it is not the phone.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

We are here to help with your Email, @ksrichards,

Could you give us a bit more details about what is going on:

  1. Was your Email a free Email or linked to an AT&T service?
  2. Are you trying to reset your Email password?
    • What is the error code or message that is appearing when you do it?
    • If the account has no identifiable markers, we will not be able to authenticate you to do a reset from our end.
  3. Have you tried logging in through a different web browser or device?
    • If able to log in using a different web browser.
      • On the trouble browser, you will need to either update your browser, clear cache, cookies, and saved passwords.
        • When clearing cache and cookies, select a time when your services were working correctly or "Forever."
      • Or, you may need to disable add-ons one by one to find out which add-on is causing the trouble.
    • If able to login through a different device.
      • Trouble most likely lies in the software added to the device.
        • Most commonly the trouble would be found in the Firewalls, anti-virus, anti-malware, or password lockers.
  4. Are you using an Email client?

Let us know if this helps.

Dear Digital Assistance Center,
Since AT&T/Yahoo has taken over my webmail it is no longer loading properly to any of my devices from your server.  The advice from Max above is very helpful and confirms for me that I am on the right track with finding a solution through the DAC office.  I am currently on hold (day 2, hour 1) with AT&T in an effort to just be routed to the DAC department.  What is the best way to get assistance with AT&T webmail?  How can I reach this department?

Thank you,

Paige

Since this topic is two years old there's no way to know if that's a good number.  Closing the topic to further posting.
