Can't sign into sbcglobal email or att account

A couple of days ago I tried signing back into my email account when my 2 weeks to stay online expired. First the password wasn't recognized (i believe it was accurate), but I tried again and was told there had been too many attempts with a failed login. 
There have been too many failed sign in attempts. To get help, please visit att.com/myatt and use Forgot user ID or Forgot password links.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]
I went to the forgot password link. They asked for my last name, and I got the message back that they didn't recognize my last name. So now I'm stuck. My email and att.com passwords are the same. I tried clearing the cache but that didn't help. How can I fix this?

Not having access to your email can be frustrating @sueok2020,

Here is a great article to assist you with getting access to your
SBCGlobal.net emails.

Some additional steps that you can try outside of what you have already done:

• Update your browser – some features and settings require the latest version of the browser to operate correctly.
• Disable browser tools or add-ons.
