Can't Access my Email
I have had the same sbcglobal.net email address for at least 15 years. All of a sudden, when I go to check my mail, it asks for my ID and Password. I enter it and it sends me to a page that says Request Error - Invalid Request. I've tried going in on ATT.net, ATT.com, yahoo.com and it does the same thing. I have spoken with customer service twice and no one seems to know what to do. HELP!!!! And, by the way, why the heck doesn't AT&T know how to fix it???

Hi There @Patsy2
Thank you for posting. Having an email address for 15 years is a long time and we want to make sure that you can get access to it. We would love to help a long standing member like you.
The first step in any email access problem is to Reset Password
Try that first. If you run into any problems, then feel free to reach back out and we can take further steps.

Yahoo sends me to AT&T. I enter my Email address and get "not recognized". I have had my second (separate) account for more than 10 years. What happened?

I am having the same issue with this error code once I try to open my inbox
Not Found on Accelerator
Description: Your request on the specified host was not found. Check the location and try again.
I can't even sign in using the Yahoo App because it doesnt "recognize" my email.
I do not understand how customer service has no idea what is going on. I was on the phone for over an hour yesterday trying to fix it. All she kept telling me was reset password, try a diff browser, clear cache/cookies but still nothing.
The issue is not being able to log in to my ATT account, because it lets me log in. My issue is when I click the mail icon with an (!) on it gives me a white page with the error message.
It is very frustrating because that is the mail e-mail account I use and they did not give me any solution besides a ticket number.
I do not understand why this is such a problem with ATT.
Will be switching my main e-mail account as soon as this gets figured out.

Accepted answer by ATTKevin?? AT&T is simply not hearing us - we are not able to access our email and password reset is not working. Even went through the effort of creating a NEW email account under att.net to see. It just does NOT work anymore. read similar postings. I can see from June all the way through now people are posting with the same issue: after login we are presented with an error page. The login appears to be successful though, because if deliberately entered a wrong username / password we are presented with a different error. I have tried it over and over. I have tried it from IE on a PC to Safari and Firefox on a MAC. All the same issue, so it is a replicable issue if you just TRY.

This has happened to me, yet again. I've been unable to obtain any kind of support. So what is the solution here? Call ATT and tell them to "synchronize" my account with Yahoo? This makes little sense. This entire ATT/Yahoo "thing" has been an imbroglio from the start,
ATT did not do this ti enhance the customer experience, trust me. They are only concerned with their bottom line. Unfortunately, this might be the final straw for me, as I currently use ATT for all our services, but they are an incredibly confusing concept. Are they Yahoo? Is ATT powered by Yahoo, or is Yahoo powered by ATT? I've not even touched on Direct TV yet....but the facts are the facts. Each time ATT involves itself with another company...the customers get the shaft. Their model is to get new customers, not keep existing.
So at this point, I'm really unsure why we continue to use ATT for our services. It's not like we have been happy with them. It's not like we would recommend them. In fact we recommend folks to stay away from using using them.

One more item...why is this marked as 'solved'? It seems the original poster was able to get a tech at ATT to track down the issue but I don't think that "try resetting your password" or "the tech synchronized my account with yahoo" warrants this to be listed as 'solved' now, does it? I'd hope ATT has higher standards than this.Typically 'solved' (in this context) indicates that there is a solution that is shared with the community as it's something they can potentially leverage.

My email has alway been with att.net and apparently Yahoo has taken over and using some mess called Currently. When I attempted to chat with someone or it was an automated chat they/it continue to ask the same question over and over. I am trying to open my emails and it continue to say incorrect info. How can I go back to my old email account because Currently don't work. I don't know if my old account has been hacked or what. Please help! Thanks

Jan 3 2020: Mac mail. Yahoo. Bellsouth. ATT. Currently.com
I think I have found the connection here. Go to
https://mail.yahoo.com/
and sign in your webmail acct. The screen came up as "Currently / Yahoo" over on the left side of the banner. Then I clicked the mail icon on the right next to my name icon and it opened a new looking mail window. Things seened right there. I signed out and signed back in and it went straight to the new webmail window. Pshew.
I went back to my Mail app and the when the yahoo password request came in, I signed into that little ATT sign-in window that showed up after clicking continue on the first page. This time it took and the mail app connected thru.
I am now doing the same with my other accounts that are set up the same way. The password took on the next two accounts I signed in thru the mail app. Maybe this is the Handshake that yahoo-att.net-currently.com are trying to make.

I just canceled my ATT internet service and I have a big problem with their redirecting through their currently page... I can log into my email (also have sbcglobal.net) but it logs me out automatically the minute I'm not doing anything actively. There is a old subpage that used to work before that I can use when I log in incognito. The minute I access the Yahoo page or att.net to access my emails without incognito, the logging out problem reoccurs. And yes, I know that there is this little box to click on for "stay logged in" but it doesn't make a difference. This has been a nightmare because I use this email for all work related stuff. I wonder what would happen if I delete my email in att.com in my account. Would it unlink this hideous "currently" page I keep getting redirected to? Or would I lose the email access altogether?
It's bad enough that a customer has to pay a full month even though only 4 days were used by the time I cancelled, now i gotta put up with this as well?
Called ATT and their suggestions ("if you log in directly at att. net this doesn't happen) was complete (Edited per community guidelines). It logged me out again. I cleared my browsers, deleted cookies, history... made no difference

I have had this problem for five days. Tried everything and still can not get into my sbcglobal.net email on my laptop. I can access my email when I use my cell phone(s). I've talked to five different techs at Att. My mail comes on when it wants to. I even changed my password and using a different browser. Last tech told me it was a fiber op problem. Since I've been using for 15 years I'm nervous about going to a google email address but must do something. Help community because ATT tech doing nothing for me. So frustrating when I need email to work.
