Cannot open my att.net email

I am having trouble opening up my att.net email account. This is the error message I received below:

Sending of password for user [email scrubbed] did not succeed. Mail server pop.att.yahoo.com responded: Server error - Please try again later. 

Does anyone have an answer or can help to my problem?  Thank you!
