Cannot get my Outlook to recognize my att.net email
I've spent a couple hours trying a variety of things but cannot get it to work and cannot find any "live" help anywhere on your at&t websites. It appears that I need to generate a 3rd party app password, but when I go to my "Account Security" within my Yahoo Settings, there is nothing there but a statement showing "How you sign in" -- the instructions on your help page says I need to be on that spot to "Generate app password" -- but again, there is no option there to do that. Please help me figure this out!

Due to enhanced security of AT&T Mail. You’ll have to use either OAuth or a secure mail key to get your email through an app.
