Let's help get your email working, @Alexander G. Bell.

What device are you using to send emails? Have you tried sending out an email using your web browser? Are you having this issue on all your devices?Have you tried reinstalling Eudora?

We recommend reinstalling Eudora or try using another device. We also have an article with more information on how to troubleshoot email issues.

Please let us know if this helps!

Hi,

I am trying to configure the outgoing mail server details to "send mail as" an @bellsouth.net email, but the POP3 'outbount.att.net' that's worked for months/years is no longer working with port 465 or 587. I can only connect using port 25, unsecured.

Server returned error: "TLS Negotiation failed, the certificate doesn't match the host., code: 0"

What are the correct configuration details so I don't have to use an unsecure port?

Thank you in advance!

I have a bellsouth.net account also and use Thunderbird for my email client. It looks like ATT (Yahoo) changed the server names for incoming and outgoing email. I had to use these settings (POP) to finally be able to receive/send email

POP settings for Yahoo Mail

Incoming Mail (POP) Server

  • Server Name - pop.mail.yahoo.com

  • Port - 995

  • Connection security - SSL/TLS

  • Authentication method - Normal password

or

SMTP settings for Yahoo Mail

Incoming Mail (SMTP) Server

  • Server Name - smtp.mail.yahoo.com

  • Port - 995

  • Connection security - SSL/TLS

  • Authentication method - Normal password

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

  • Server Name - smtp.mail.yahoo.com

  • Port - 465

  • Connection security - SSL/TLS

  • Authentication method - Normal password

Whenever it asked for my password I gave it the secure mail key that I had generated and use for both incoming and outgoing messages.

I used the information found here to figure things out
